Lexington-Area Domino's Pizza Stores Partner with the Kentucky State Police to Collect Canned Food for its Third Annual "Cram the Cruiser" Food Drive

WHAT: Domino's Pizza stores in Richmond and Nicholasville are teaming up with the Kentucky State Police for the annual "Cram the Cruiser" campaign to help collect non-perishable food items for needy families. Starting Wednesday, Nov. 21 through Friday, Dec. 14, customers can drop off non-perishable food items at all 16 Kentucky State Police posts, participating Domino's Pizza stores (see list below), or to their Domino's delivery drivers. Customers who donate items at their Domino's store or to their Domino's delivery driver will receive $1 off their pizza order. The food collected through the holiday season will be distributed to needy families throughout central Kentucky.

WHO: The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, and participating Domino's Pizza stores in Richmond and Nicholasville.

WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 27, through Friday, Dec. 14, 2012

WHERE: Donations can be dropped off at all 16 Kentucky State Police Posts and the following Domino's Pizza stores:

  • 800 S. Main St., Ste. D, Nicholasville
  • 328 Eastern Bypass, Richmond

WHY: "We are thrilled to partner with the Kentucky State Police on this endeavor," said Chris Reisch, Lexington Domino's Pizza franchise owner. "At Domino's, we always welcome ways we can better the communities in which we work and live, so we are excited to get everyone involved in achieving our collection goal: to 'Cram the Cruiser' for those in need."
