McKee Man Killed in a Collision on I-75

(Richmond, KY.) –- On Saturday, October 10, 2012, at 11:19 a.m. (EST), the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, received a report of a single vehicle wreck on I-75 at the 84 mile marker.

Initial investigation revealed that a 2000 Buick passenger car, operated by James Ward, 40 years old of McKee, KY, was traveling south on the interstate when it went off the right side of the road and struck several trees. Mr. Ward was pronounced dead at the scene by the Madison County Coroner.

Trooper Anthony Trotter is the investigating officer and was assisted at the scene by Lieutenant Jamie Heller, Trooper Albert LaGrange, and Madison County EMS.
