Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, Make Arrest in Felony Child Abuse Case

(Stanford, KY) -- On Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 9:17 A.M. EDT the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post served a Grand Jury Indictment Warrant on a Lincoln County man in connection to a child abuse case.

Lucas Vinyard, 29 years old of Stanford, KY was charged with Assault in the First Degree in connection to injuries received to an infant in August 2012. He is being held in the Lincoln County Detention Center.

Stanford Man Arrested on Felony Child Abuse

(Stanford, KY) -- On Friday, August 24, 2012 at 2:46 P.M. EDT Detective Rodney Wren arrested Lucas Vinyard for assaulting a 6 week old juvenile. The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was notified that an infant had been admitted to a local hospital suffering from injuries consistent with child abuse.

Lucas Vinyard, 29 years old of Stanford, was charged with Assault 1st Degree and lodged in the Lincoln County Regional Jail.
