Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, Activity for September 2012

(Richmond, KY) Captain Lisa Rudzinski, Post Commander of the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of September, 2012.

Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 2655 citations of which 566 were for speeding and seven for no child restraint. Troopers issued 288 citations for no seatbelts. 19 individuals were arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 690 courtesy notices, and assisted 134 stranded motorists, while inspecting 3625 vehicles.

Richmond Post investigated 55 traffic collisions in the month of September.

Detectives and Troopers investigated 1019 complaints, opened 77 criminal cases, and made 205 criminal arrests.

Troopers also conducted 28 educational programs in September.
