Post 7 To Host Their Annual Citizens Police Academy

(Richmond, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post will be hosting their annual Citizens Police Academy starting on September 4, 2012 (Tuesday) at the Madison County EMS Building located at 556 South Keeneland Drive in Richmond. The classes run for 12 weeks from 6:00 8:00 pm every Tuesday evening (No class on October 9, 2012) with a graduation ceremony on November 20, 2012.

This learning opportunity will provide those in the academy with an in depth look at the multiple aspects of the Kentucky State Police as well as an opportunity to interact with the Troopers that work the local communities. There is no cost to attend this academy. The activities include classroom presentations on patrol, criminal investigations, and drug investigations.
