KSP to Conduct Mapping Project in Jackson County

(McKee, KY) - Personnel of the Criminal ID & Records Branch of the Kentucky State Police will be conducting an update of the KSP Mapping Project in Jackson County for the next two months. Personnel will be obtaining residential and business addresses throughout the county providing the Richmond Post of the KSP more precise locations of these residences and businesses to provide quicker and more precise response for calls for service for E.M.S., Fire and Police that are directed to Richmond Post. These KSP personnel will not be involved in any law enforcement activities, but will be limited to obtaining addresses for this project.
