Arson Investigation in Lincoln County

(Eubank, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police are currently investigating several suspicious fires in the Eubank Community. Two fires occurred at Anderson Lumber located at 16100 US Hwy 27 and three fires occurred at the Old Eubank High School. The fires are being investigated as arson. The Old Eubank High School property was an unused building and the Anderson Lumber property did not have electricity connected to the structure. Also, the fires occurred within a few weeks and during the same time of the night.

Damages to the Anderson Lumber property are in excess of $1.5 million. No value has been given to the Old Eubank High School property.

Pennsylvania Lumber, the insuring company for Anderson Lumber, has offered up to a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the Anderson Lumber fires. This is in addition to the $1,000 reward offered by the Kentucky Arson Task Force.
