Post 5 Trooper Receives DUI Award

(Campbellsburg, KY) – The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety honored officers from across the Commonwealth at the 2012 Governor's Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards ceremony held last night at the Galt House in Louisville.

Trooper Brandon Maupin, of Walton, was recognized for arresting the most DUI's at KSP Post 5 during the past year. Trooper Maupin's efforts to enhance traffic safety led to the arrests of 61 persons for Driving Under the Influence. Trooper Maupin is currently assigned to Gallatin and Owen counties. He is a 5 year veteran of the Kentucky State Police.
