Two Arrested at Owen County Meth Lab

(New Liberty, KY) –- Two people were arrested Saturday after Troopers discovered a meth lab at an Owen County home. Troopers from KSP Post 5 went to the home at 270 Highway 1669 to attempt to serve a warrant at 5:48 p.m. on 10/27. When they arrived at the home, the Troopers smelled a strong chemical odor coming from the residence. A search warrant was obtained and a search of the home led to the discovery of a meth lab. Corrine Sturgeon, 33 years old from Wheatley, KY, and Raymond Eastman, 44 years old from Wheatley, KY, were arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Meth Precursor, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Both were transported and lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
