Henry County Man Arrested After Indictment

(Campbellsburg, KY) - Troopers from Kentucky State Police Post 5 have arrested a Henry County man after he was indicted on charges of rape, sodomy and sexual abuse. Dwayne Whitman, 54 years old from Pendleton, KY, was arrested by Tpr. Barrett Brewer at 12:53 a.m. on 8/20 at 502 Brownsboro Road in Sulphur, KY. Whitman was indicted by the Henry County grand jury on 8/9. The indictment came after an investigation by Det. Tim Moore found that Whitman allegedly raped, sodomized and sexually abused a juvenile over a period of six months. Whitman was arrested without incident and was lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
