Two Promoted at KSP Post 5

(Campbellsburg, Ky) -- Kentucky State Police Post 5 has two new supervisors after a recent promotion ceremony in Frankfort. Howard Rice, a 14 year KSP veteran from Bethlehem, KY, was promoted to Lieutenant. Lt. Rice was previously a Sergeant at Post 5. Derek Smith, a 7 year KSP veteran from Calvert City, KY, was promoted to Sergeant. Sgt. Smith was previously a Trooper at KSP Post 2 in Madisonville.
