Meth Lab Discovered During Traffic Stop

(Bedford, KY) -- A traffic stop in Trimble County has led to the arrest of the driver for manufacturing methamphetamine. Yesterday (3/8/12) at approximately 10:30 p.m., Trooper Josh Noble stopped a vehicle driven by Corey Wardrup (21 years old from Campbellsburg, KY) on Rowlett Avenue in Bedford. A meth lab was discovered during a search of the vehicle. Troopers also found two ounces of finished methamphetamine inside the vehicle. No children were present during the stop.

Wardrup was charged with the following: Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Possession of a Controlled Substance, DUI 1st, Careless Driving, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Trooper Noble is leading the ongoing investigation.
