Trimble County Man Arrested for Manufacturing Methamphetamine

(Bedford, KY) -- An investigation by Troopers from Post 5 has led to the arrest of a Trimble County man for manufacturing methamphetamine. On 02/21/2012 at approximately 12:50 p.m., Troopers went to the home of David Leach (45 years old of Bedford, KY) located at 3419 Bray Ridge Road. When they arrived, Troopers discovered the meth lab in the residence. Along with the lab, Troopers found a small amount of finished methamphetamine. Leach, a convicted felon, was also in possession of a firearm. There were no children present in the home.

Leach was charged with the following: Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Trooper Chad Johnson is leading the ongoing investigation.
