Gallatin County Man Arrested for Meth Lab in Vehicle

(Glencoe, KY) -- Troopers have arrested a Gallatin County man after discovering a meth lab inside his vehicle during a traffic stop. Travis Moore (32 years old of Warsaw, KY) was stopped Saturday night (1/28) at 11:10 p.m. at the intersection of Johnson Hill Road and US Highway 127 by Trooper Brandon Maupin for texting while driving. After making the stop, Trooper Maupin discovered the meth lab and several ingredients used in manufacturing methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Moore was charged with the following: Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Physical Evidence, DUI 1st, Communication Device Violation, and Failure to Notify Address Change.

Trooper Maupin is leading the ongoing investigation.
