Henry County Man Arrested After Indictment

(Bedford, KY) -- Troopers arrested a Henry County man yesterday (1/23) after he was indicted by the Trimble County Grand Jury for crimes related to the October 12, 2011 death of Catherine Straw (27 years old of Sulphur, KY). Patrick Moore (27 years old of Sulphur, KY) was indicted on charges of Reckless Homicide, DUI 1st Aggravated, and Persistent Felony Offender. Moore was the driver in a motorcycle collision on Highway 421 in Milton, KY that killed Straw, a passenger on the motorcycle.
Reckless Homicide is a Class D Felony that carries a possible prison sentence of 1-5 years. DUI 1st Aggravated is a Class A Misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days in jail. The charge of Persistent Felony Offender carries a possible prison sentence of 10 – 20 years.
