One Arrested at Gallatin County Meth Lab

(Warsaw, KY) -- Troopers have arrested a woman after discovering several precursors used in the process of initiating a meth lab inside the home located at 503 Boone Trail in Warsaw. Troopers discovered the lab last night (1/12/2012) at 10:30 p.m. A one year old child that was located in the home was transported to St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence for medical evaluation. Gallatin County Social Services has placed the child with family members.

Amy Martin (36 years old of Warsaw) was charged with the following: Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession of Meth Precursors, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Resisting Arrest.

Trooper Brandon Maupin is leading the ongoing investigation. The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office assisted KSP at the scene.
