Battletown Family Feud In Meade County Leads To Two People Being Shot

(BRANDENBURG, KY) On Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at approximately 6:50 p.m. ET KSP Post 4 was notified by Meade County Dispatch of a fight in progress with shots fired at 7160 Battletown Road in Meade County. Prior to Trooper's arrival Post 4 was notified that two males had been shot. The preliminary investigation revealed that 64-year-old John L. Kenley and 50-year-old James R. Kenley got involved in a heated family dispute which led to them shooting one another. Both suspects were shot multiple times and transported to U of L Hospital. This investigation is ongoing by Detective Aaron Gabhart. This case will be presented to the Meade County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office once the investigation is complete.
