Bank Of Buffalo Robbed In Larue County

(BUFFALO, KY) On Friday, July 06, 2012 at approximately 12:51 p.m. Post 4 received a call from the Larue County Dispatch that the Bank of Buffalo in Buffalo, KY had been robbed. Our preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect was in and out of the bank in less than a minute as he fled out through the rear door with an undetermined amount of cash. He was described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing about 230 lbs. He was last seen wearing a camouflage mask, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and possibly armed with a handgun. The get-away vehicle was described as a newer model Chevrolet, maroon, 4-door passenger car. Post 4 Detective John Vaughn is leading the investigation.
