KSP Post 4 Citizen's Police Academy

Citizen&39;s Police Academy Logo

(Elizabethtown, KY) -- Post 04's Citizen's Police Academy will start on Thursday, September 13, 2012 and will be held every Thursday with a graduation held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. This year the academy will be held in Hardin County at 620 College Street Road on the campus of the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in Room 112 of the Administration Building in Elizabethtown. It is a 10- week program and will run from 6 pm-8:30 pm ET. The classes will include topics such as Criminal Investigations, Traffic Stops, Crash Investigations, and other police related topics. Participants will also be eligible for a ride-along with a Kentucky State Trooper. You must be at least 18 years of age and have no felony convictions to be eligible to apply.
