Anonymous Tip Leads To The Arrest Of Two Grayson County Residents

(CANEYVILLE, KY) – On Saturday, June 16, 2012 at approximately 10:24 p.m. ET Post 4 Tpr. Daniel Leonard and a deputy with the Grayson County Sheriff's Office responded to 3468 Yeaman Road in Caneyville in Grayson County to follow up on an anonymous tip of possible methamphetamine production. Upon arrival Tpr. Leonard and the deputy noticed several items outside of the residence that were consistent with items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamines.
Based on the information received at the scene Tpr. Leonard obtained a search warrant. A subsequent search of the property revealed two 1-step meth labs. One complete lab was located in the residence in a garbage can and 1 incomplete lab was located in another building. Two grams of finished product, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were also located in the residence.
John H. Embry, 36, of Caneyville and 37-year-old Peggy Embry of Caneyville were arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center. The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force were tasked with clean-up. The investigation is ongoing by Tpr. Daniel Leonard.
