One Injured in a Collision on Nat Rogers Road

(NEW HAVEN, KY) – On Sunday, May 27, 2012 at approximately 10:05 p.m. KSP Post 4 Trooper Jonathan Downs responded to Nat Rogers Road in Nelson County to investigate an injury crash. 22-year-old Bradley McManus was northbound and operating a black 2007 Chrysler Sebring on Nat Rogers Road. The Sebring ran off the northeast shoulder of the roadway and struck an earth embankment. The vehicle overturned and rolled across the roadway and came to final rest on the southeast shoulder facing south. McManus was not wearing his seatbelt and was transported to Flaget Hospital by the Nelson County EMS where he was later airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Tpr. Downs was assisted at the scene by the Nelson County Sheriff’s Department.
