Missing Juvenile in Grayson County

Date of News Release: 04/04/2012

Brandi E. Higdon & Tyler Hill

(Elizabethtown, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown is requesting assistance from our media outlets in locating 16-year-old Brandi E. Higdon from Clarkson, KY. Brandi is a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black UK shirt and denim capri pants. However, she has likely changed due to her taking clothes with her. She wears her hair below her shoulders and had stitches in her right knee from an accident she was in a few days ago. She may also have scratches on her face from that same wreck. Brandi is likely in the company of 18-year-old Tyler Hill. Tyler Hill is a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds. They may be driving a silver 2004 Toyota Corolla with a Kentucky tag of 591AFX.

Brandi was dropped off at a restaurant in Clarkson, KY on Monday March 26, 2012 by a friend, after she told the friend that another person would be picking her up and taking her on to school. Brandi did not show up for school and has been missing ever since. Tyler Hill did not show up for school either. Brandi left a note indicating her intent to runaway and be gone for a few years before returning. Brandi Higdon and Tyler Hill were possibly spotted in the Opry Mills Mall area of Nashville, Tennessee on April 4, 2012, but were not located after Tennessee authorities were notified. Brandi Higdon is entered into LINK/NCIC as a missing person.

Brandi's parents, Traci and Jonathan Higdon are asking for your help in locating their daughter. They miss her and just want her home safely. Brandi Higdon and Tyler Hill likely only have a few hundred dollars on them so it is just a matter of time before they run out of cash. Although we have no information that would lead us to believe that they are in danger, it is extremely important that we locate them before they resort to more desperate measures in obtaining more money.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts may contact the Kentucky State Police Post 4 at (270) 766-5078. They may ask for MTPR Norman Chaffins or Tpr. Daniel Leonard. Media only may contact me on my cell phone if you have questions or need more information.
