DUI Injury Crash on KY 447 in Hardin County

(Elizabethtown, KY) -- At 1:35 am ET Post 4 received a call of a loud crash on KY 447 (Wilson Road) north of Elizabethtown. It was discovered that a 2010 Ford pickup operated by 25 year-old Christopher R. Hill of Elizabethtown was southbound on KY 447. The vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. Hill over corrected, lost control, ran through a yard and struck a parked vehicle, knocking it several feet. The pickup overturned and Hill was ejected. The pickup came to final rest against a residence. A gas line to the residence was ruptured and phone lines was knocked down. Hill was airlifted to U of L Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Hill was not wearing a seatbelt and he was cited for DUI. Tpr. Bryan Washer is the investigating Trooper.
