Injury Collision near the intersection of U.S. Highway 62 and Tunnel Hill Road in Hardin County

(Post 4, Elizabethtown) -- On 02/02/2012 at 4:45 PM Eastern Time Post 4 troopers responded to a report of an injury crash near the intersection of U.S. Highway 62 and Tunnel Hill Road in Hardin County. Lucy Olivo age 63 of Radcliff, Kentucky was operating a 2010 Lincoln Navigator traveling east when she attempted to make a left hand turn on Tunnel Hill Road and into the path of a 2007 Suzuki Motorcycle operated by Michael Stopher, age 23 of Elizabethtown. Ms. Olivo was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital via Hardin County EMS with non-life threatening injuries. Mr. Stopher was transported to University of Louisville Hospital with potentially life threatening injuries. The accident is under the investigation of Trooper Arthur Baetzel.
