Injury Collision on the Interstate 65 in Barren County

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Thursday, December 20, 2012, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to the 46 mile marker of Interstate 65 in Barren County in reference to a single vehicle injury collision.

According to Trooper First Class Joel Huff, Joel Turner (50) of Park City, Kentucky was traveling south when he lost control of his 2005 Ford F150. Turner exited the right side of the roadway and traveled through a ditch and up an embankment. Turner then traveled down the embankment where he came to a final rest.

Turner was transported to T.J. Samson Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
