Injury Collision on I-65 in Edmonson County

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Monday, December 17, 2012 at 6:44 a.m. Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green, responded to the 45 mile marker on Interstate 65 in Edmonson County in reference to a single vehicle injury collision.

According to Trooper First Class Joel Huff Joyce Addington (31) of Ashland, Ohio was traveling North when she lost control of her 2011 Ford Focus. Addington exited the right side of the roadway and traveled through a rock cut ditch. Addington then traveled up an embankment before striking a tree with the front of her vehicle. Addington was transported to T.J. Samson Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
