Injury Collision on I-65 in Hart County

(Bowling Green, KY) - On Sunday, December 09, 2012, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Dispatch received a report of an injury collision near the 74 mile marker on Interstate 65.

Sandra Polk (53) was operating a 2008 Ford Focus and lost control on the wet roadway. The Ford Focus ran off the right shoulder, striking an embankment before overturning. Sandra Polk was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital with possible injuries. The four passengers in the vehicle refused medical treatment at the scene.

Trooper Timmy Jewell investigated this collision and was assisted by Trooper Randy Chambers, Bonnieville Fire Department, Hart County EMS and Hardin County EMS.
