Injury Collision on I-65 in Edmonson County

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Saturday, December 08, 2012, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Trooper Chris Newkirk responded to I-65 at the 45 mile marker regarding to an injury collision.

According to Trooper Newkirk, a passenger car operated by Kimberly O'Neal (41) of Munfordville, KY was traveling North on I-65 when her vehicle hydroplaned and exited the North shoulder and struck and embankment overturning multiple time. The operator and passengers Heather Horton (29) and a 22 month old child were transported to TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY where they were treated and released.

All occupants in the vehicle were wearing their seatbelt at the time of the collision.
