Two Injured in a Collision on Defries Road

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Friday, December 7th, 2012, William Sexton (59) of Horse Cave was traveling North in his Jeep Wrangler on Defries Road, and lost control of his vehicle attempting to avoid another vehicle traveling south in his lane of travel. The Jeep ran off the roadway and overturned coming to rest in a ditch. Sexton was transported to Caverna Hospital by Hart County EMS. A passenger in the Jeep, Donna Stowe (57) who was ejected was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville by Air Methods.

Trooper Graham Rutherford was assisted on scene by Trooper Jeremy Smith, and the Hardyville Volunteer Fire Department.
