Felony Arrest of a Hart County Man

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Thursday, December 6, 2012 at approximately 9:35 P.M., the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a call for service in reference to an incomplete 911 hang-up call at 759 Broadford Road in Hart County. Upon arrival of KSP units, contact was made with the occupant of the residence, Nathaniel E. Webb (26). Through investigation it was determined that the initial complaint was unfounded; however, while KSP Troopers were at the scene, a strong odor of marijuana was detected inside the residence. A search of the property was conducted. The search resulted in locating marijuana, drug paraphernalia, hydrocodone, as well as a firearm.

Mr. Webb was transported to and lodged in the Hart County Jail.

He was charged with Poss Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Poss Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Enhancement), Poss of Marijuana, Poss of Marijuana (Enhancement), Drug Paraphernalia - Buy/Possess, & Drug Paraphernalia - Buy/Possess (Enhancement).

The investigation is being led by Trooper Jeremy Smith and he was assisted by Trooper Graham Rutherford.
