Four Commercial Vehicle Injury Collision

(Bowling Green, KY.) –- On Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 5:04 A.M., Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to I 65 in Hart County, Kentucky regarding a four commercial vehicle injury collision.
According to Trooper Jonathan McChesney, Donald Gordon (44) of Cincinnati, OH operating a 2006 International was north bound on I 65 near the the rest area when he failed to see traffic stopped in front of him from a previous collision. Mr. Gordon's vehicle struck the trailer of Keith Copeland (22) of Montpelier, VT who was operating a 2011 International. Mr. Copeland's vehicle struck the trailer of Ronnie Brown (61) of Nicholasville, Kentucky who was operating a 2006 International. Mr. Brown's vehicle struck the trailer of Kenneth Johnson (44) of Indianapolis, IN.
Donald Gordon was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital then transported to University of Louisville Hospital.
Keith Copeland and Ronnie Brown were both taken to Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, Kentucky
Kenneth Johnson was not injured.
The collision was worked by Trooper Jonathan McChesney. Trooper McChesney was assisted on scene by Troopers Shea Foley and Justin Roundtree, Hart County Emergency Director Kerry McDaniel, KSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Horse Cave Fire Department, Hart County EMS, and Hart County Rescue Squad
