Multiple Felony Arrest in Hart County

(Bowling Green, KY.) - On Saturday, August 25, 2012, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received multiple complaints of suspected alcohol sales and drug trafficking at 2242 South Dixie Hwy in Rowletts, KY. KSP Troopers, made contact with the owner of the property, Larry W. Sturgeon. During the course of the investigation a search was done at the residence. The searched yielded numerous prescription medications, a large quantity of alcoholic beverages, multiple ounces of marijuana, and over $3,600 in cash was seized. Three individuals were subsequently apprehended without incident and lodged in the Hart County Jail. The investigation is being led by Trooper Jeremy Smith and he was assisted by Troopers Daniel White and Ronnie Reynolds. The Kentucky State Police was also assisted in the search by Munfordville Police Officer David King and his K-9.

Larry W. Sturgeon (54) of Munfordville, Kentucky was charged with the following:

Charges: Trafficking in Marijuana (less than 8 oz), Complicity to Trafficking Marijuana (less than 8 oz), Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree Opiates, Complicity to Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree Opiates, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Complicity to Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistent Felony Offender, Illegal Possession of Alcohol in Dry Territory, Complicity to Illegal Possession of Alcohol in Dry Territory, Presence of Alcoholic Beverages Raises Presumption & Intent to Sale, Complicity to Presence of Alcoholic Beverages Raises Presumption & Intent to Sale, Poss/Use of Radio that Sends/Receive Police Messages, and Complicity to Poss/Use of Radio that Sends/Receive Police Messages.

Carla A. Logsdon (38) of Munfordville, Kentucky was charged with the following:

Charges: Trafficking in Marijuana (less than 8 oz), Complicity to Trafficking Marijuana (less than 8 oz), Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree Opitates, Complicity to Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree Opitates, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Complicity to Tampering with Physical Evidence, Illegal Possession of Alcohol in Dry Territory, Complicity to Illegal Possession of Alcohol in Dry Territory, Presence of Alcoholic Beverages Raises Presumption & Intent to Sale, Complicity to Presence of Alcoholic Beverages Raises Presumption & Intent to Sale, Poss/Use of Radio that Sends/Receive Police Messages, and Complicity to Poss/Use of Radio that Sends/Receive Police Messages.

Eddie W. Sturgeon (28) of Munfordville, Kentucky was charged with:
