Three Men Charged with Arson in Allen County

(Bowling Green, KY.) -- On Thursday, July 28, 2011, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green was contacted by the Scottsville Fire Department regarding an alleged Arson complaint.

According to Kentucky State Police Arson Investigator David West it was determined that the house fire at 76 Bent Tree Lane in Scottsville, Kentucky had been started with the aid of gasoline throughout different parts of the house.

Investigator West presented a Arson investigation case before the Allen County Grand Jury on April 17, 2012. The Allen County Grand Jury returned an indictment on three individuals regarding the July 28, 2011 house fire.

Kelvin Roach Jr (29) of Bowling Green was indicted for one count of Arson 2nd Degree.

Terry Wilson (20) of Scottsville was indicted for one count of Arson 2nd Degree.

Derrick J. Martin (21) of Scottsville was indicted for one count of Arson 2nd Degree.

All three subjects were lodged in the Allen County Jail.

The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Investigator David West. He was assisted by Trooper Matthew Cardwell and Trooper Jason Lanham and State Fire Marshall's Office.
