Single-Vehicle Injury Collision n the Edward T. Breathitt Pennyrile Parkway

Sebree, KY. (Webster County) The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury collision that occurred on the Edward T. Breathitt Pennyrile Parkway, approximately 3 miles north of Sebree (62 mile-marker), on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 6:45 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Margaret B. Wells, age 61 of Manitou, KY, was operating a 2012 GMC Sierra pickup truck northbound on the parkway when she reached for her phone and lost control of the vehicle. It exited the right side of the roadway and continued into a ditch. The vehicle came to rest overturned on its passenger side in the ditch.

Ms. Wells, who was wearing a seatbelt, was treated at the scene by Webster County EMS. There were no passengers.

Trooper Bob Winters investigated the collision. Webster County EMS assisted at the scene.
