Nortonville Man Injured in a Collision on US 41A

Nebo, KY. (Hopkins County) – The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury collision that occurred on US 41A (Nebo Road), approximately 1 1/2 miles north of Nebo, on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 8:34 p.m.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Jacob B. Adams, age 27 of Nortonville, KY., was operating a 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck northbound on US 41A (Nebo Road) when a deer entered the travel portion of the roadway. In his attempted to avoid the deer, Mr. Adams overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle. It entered the ditch line and struck a telephone pole.
Mr. Adams was transported via ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt. There were no passengers.
Trooper Nathan Craft conducted the investigation. Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
