Two Injured in an ATV Collision in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, KY) -- Desire Shultz was operating a 2002 Chevrolet Impala north bound on Ike Everly Avenue in Drakesboro. As Ms. Shultz was crossing Broad street she was struck by a 2006 Honda Rancher all terrain vehicle driven by the juvenile. The juvenile was operating a Honda A.T.V., west bound on Broad Street. The juvenile failed to stop for a stop sign and struck the passenger's side of Shultz vehicle. The juvenile's mother, Bobbi Piper was cited for permitting a unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle. The juvenile and juvenile's passenger were transported by personal vehicle to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
