Felony Trafficking Marijuana Arrest

Princeton, KY. (Caldwell County) – Kentucky State Police officers arrested a Princeton man at his residence on several drug charges.
The KSP Drug Enforcement/Special Investigations (DESI) West Branch was conducting an investigation of illegal drug activity at a residence on North Cave Street in Princeton. On Friday, September 14, 2012, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers from DESI West and Post 2 Madisonville made contact with the resident. Officers recovered 22 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia from inside the residence. Officers also located 4 marijuana plants that were being grown inside the residence.
Arrested was Charles M. Dequintin Jr., age 32 of Princeton, KY. Mr. Dequinton Jr. was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail and charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking in Marijuana > 5 Pounds – C Felony
- Cultivating Marijuana < 5 Plants – A Misdemeanor
- Possession of Marijuana – B Misdemeanor
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – A Misdemeanor
Officers from KSP Post 2 assisted with the arrest.
