Madisonville Man Injured in a Collision on US 41A

Nebo, KY. (Hopkins County) The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury collision that occurred on US 41A (Nebo Road), approximately two miles north of Nebo, on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at approximately 9:45 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Claude Agent, age 80 of Madisonville, KY, was operating a 1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88 southbound on US 41A when his vehicle crossed into the northbound lane. It exited the shoulder of the roadway and struck a utility pole head-on.

Mr. Agent was transported via ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt.

Trooper Bob Winters investigated the collision. The Nebo Volunteer Fire Department and Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
