Two Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision in Webster County

Slaughters, KY. (Webster County) The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury collision that occurred on the Pennyrile Parkway, approximately three miles north of Slaughters, on Monday, May 14, 2012 at approximately 10:13 p.m.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Patsy I. Morseman, age 57 of Hanson, KY, was operating a 2004 Chevrolet tracker southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway when her vehicle entered the median. Ms. Morseman lost control of the vehicle. It overturned and entered the northbound lanes of the parkway. The vehicle struck a guardrail and came to rest upright blocking one of the northbound lanes.

Ms. Morseman and her passenger, Savannah N. Morseman, age 18 of Dawson Springs, KY, were transported via ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. Both were wearing seatbelts.

Trooper Jon McGehee conducted the investigation. Lieutenant Lonnie Bell, the Slaughters Volunteer Fire Department, and Webster County EMS assisted at the scene.
