One Injured in a Motorcycle Collision in Caldwell County

(Madisonville KY) - Mitchell Q. Coleman, age 18, of Princeton, was riding a 2003 Honda off-road motorcycle, eastbound on Grooms Road when he lost control and fell from the motorcycle. Mr. Coleman stuck the roadway and the motorcycle traveled off the left shoulder, where it came to final rest on its left side. Mr. Coleman was not wearing a helmet and suffered head injuries. He was flown from the scene to the Vanderbilt University Hospital, in Nashville, TN, by PHI Air Medical helicopter. The collision is being investigated by Kentucky State Police Sgt. Trent Weaver. Sgt. Weaver was assisted by Trooper Tim Sales, Caldwell Co. Deputy Mike Evans, the Caldwell Co. EMS, and the Princeton-Caldwell Co. Fire Dept.
