Update to the Muhlenberg County Death/Shooting Investigation

Bremen, KY. (Muhlenberg County) -- The victim discovered inside a van yesterday off of KY 175 North has been identified as Amy L. Dennison, age 36 of Beechmont, KY. An autopsy was performed this morning (03/01) at the State Medical Examiners Office in Louisville. The cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds.
The subject suffering from an apparent, self-inflicted gunshot has been identified as Lennie J. Dillon, age 34 of Drakesboro, KY. At the present time, Mr. Dillon is listed in serious condition at St. Mary's in Evansville, IN.
At this time, the Kentucky State Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. Dillon on the charge of murder.
The investigation is continuing by KSP Detective Lonnie Kavanaugh. The following agencies assisted the KSP: KSP CVE, Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department, Bremen Fire Department, Central City Police Department, Greenville Police Department, Central City Fire & Rescue, Muhlenberg County EMS, PHI Air Medical, and the Muhlenberg County Coroner's Office.

Muhlenberg County Death/Shooting Investigation

Bremen, KY. (Muhlenberg County) -- The Kentucky State Police is currently investigating a death and shooting that occurred off of KY 175 North in the Bremen area.
On Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at approximately 2:00 p.m., officers responded to a call of a possible death located off of KY 175 North approximately half a mile north of the intersection with KY 70. At this location, officers discovered a vehicle off of the roadway at the tree line. A deceased subject was located inside this vehicle. It appears that this deceased subject had been shot. In the woods approximately one mile from the vehicle, officers located a subject who was suffering from an apparent, self-inflicted gunshot wound. This subject was flown from the scene to St. Mary's in Evansville, IN for treatment. The status of this subject is not known at the present time.
The Kentucky State Police is continuing the investigation. The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department, Central City Police Department, Greenville Police Department, Central City Fire & Rescue, Muhlenberg County EMS, PHI Air Medical, and the Muhlenberg County Coroner's Office assisted.
