Hardin Man Injured in a Collision on US 68

(Hickory, KY) – Bernard Manion was eastbound on US 68 just east of the Trace in the right lane, with a semi attempting to pass in the left lane. Mr. Manion thought the semi had cut too close to the front of his van and in an attempt to avoid a collision, applied his brakes and swerved striking the guardrail. Mr. Manion was transported to Murray Calloway County Hospital by Trigg County EMS for minor neck and back pain. The Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by Trigg County EMS and Trigg County Rescue. The investigation continues by Trooper Nathan Clinkenbeard.
