Date of News Release: 03/16/2012

(Wingo, KY) -- Kentucky State Police arrested two subjects overnight wanted for murder from Bolivar County Mississippi. Trooper Thomas Clifton was patrolling US 45 just north of Wingo and met a pickup truck that did not dim its headlights. Trooper Clifton initiated a traffic stop and learned the driver, Jabroski Lloyd, 20, of Gunnison, MS was wanted for murder. Mr. Lloyd was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of drugs and Fugitive From Another State for coming to Kentucky in an effort to escape prosecution in Mississippi.

After interviewing Mr. Lloyd and speaking with deputies in Bolivar County it was determined that Jabroski Lloyd's brother, Cordarious Lloyd, 22, also of Gunnison, MS was also wanted for murder. State Police learned of a possible location for Cordarious and responded to the residence on KY 339 near Sedalia. Upon arrival at that residence police were able to locate and apprehend Cordarious Lloyd. Mr. Lloyd was also charged with Fugitive From Another State for coming to Kentucky in an effort to escape prosecution in Mississippi. Both men are being held at the Graves County Jail awaiting extradition back to Mississippi. Trooper Clifton was assisted by Deputies of the Graves County Sheriff's Office and other KSP Troopers.
