Owensboro Man Arrest for Child Pornography

(Owensboro, KY) – An Owensboro man was arrested on charges related to child pornography Thursday after the Kentucky State Police served a search warrant at his Owensboro home.
Nicholas L. Williams, 33, is charged with 108 counts of Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor and five counts of Distribution of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor. All charges are a class D felony. Williams was arrested without incident at 1:35 p.m. this afternoon (12/06/2012) by the Kentucky State Police. He was charged and taken to the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.
Williams was charged by the Kentucky State Police ICAC Task Force as a result of an undercover investigation into the possession and distribution of images of child sexual exploitation. The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at William's residence in Owensboro on December 6, 2012 by the Kentucky State Police ICAC Task Force, Post 16 units and Owensboro Police Department. Detectives seized evidence that was being used to distribute and possess child pornography and taken to the Kentucky State Police forensic laboratory for examination.
