Date of News Release: 05/21/2012

(Henderson, KY) -- On Monday, May 21, 2012, Kentucky State Police Detective Zach Jones charged 19 year-old Cody Carter of Owensboro with fifty (50) counts of Possession of Matter Portraying Sex Performance by a Minor (class D Felony).

The investigation was initiated while officers from Operation Yellow Banks (Owensboro Police Department; Daviess County Sheriff's Department; U.S. Marshals Office; Kentucky Probation and Parole and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement) were checking area sex offenders for compliance. Carter, who is not a registered sex offender, does reside with a registered sex offender.
