Fraudulent use of Credit Card Investigation

(Henderson, KY) -- On Thursday, May 3, 2012, Kentucky State Police Detective Matt Wise charged 47 year-old Letecia Cambron of Morganfield with one (1) count of Fraudulent Use of Credit Card Over $10,000 and Fraudulent Use of Credit Card Under $10,000. Both are felony charges.

The investigation was initiated by the Kentucky State Police when the Union County Attorney's Office contacted KSP on February 6, 2012. The county attorney's office requested KSP to launch an investigation into a misuse of funds at Saint Agnus Catholic Church in Uniontown. It was reveled that Cambron, who was a church employee, was using church credit cards for over two years to purchase items for personal gain.

The three month investigation was presented to the Union County Grand Jury which issued the indictment warrants on Cambron. Cambron was charged and held in the Union County Detention Center in Morganfield.
