Loretto Man Killed in a Collision on KY 49

(Lebanon, KY) –- Tpr. Joshua Dicken is investigating a collision that occurred today at 1:00 AM EDT, 5 miles north of Lebanon on KY 49. 26-year-old Joseph Raikes of Loretto was traveling north on KY 49 in a 2006 Dodge Truck when the vehicle dropped off the shoulder of the road. Raikes lost control of the vehicle, exited the roadway and traveled over an earth embankment. Raikes was not belted and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County Coroner.
