Update: Marion County Shooting Investigation

(Lebanon, KY) - 46-year-old Christopher P. Gribbins was arrested Saturday, November 10th at 12:07 AM EDT and charged with the Murder of David Litsey. He was arrested, without incident, at his residence on Dangerfield Road in Larue County. The on-going investigation into the Murder also led to Gribbins being charged with Assault 2nd Degree stemming from the assault of 22-year-old Phillip J. Franklin of Springfield, KY. The assault was a seperate incident that occurred prior to the shooting outside the rear of the same bar.

48-year-old Michael Gibson of Raywick was arrested on Friday, November 9th at 22:51 PM EDT and was charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Terroristic Threatening in connection to the assault of Phillip J. Franklin. Both men were lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.

Marion County Shooting Investigation

Date of News Release: 11/09/2012

(Lebanon, KY) - At approximately 1:36AM the Kentucky State Police received a call from Marion County Dispatch in regards to a shooting that took place outside Raywick Bar and Grill. The shooting led to 22 year old, David Litsey of Lebanon being transported to Springview Hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries. An autopsy has been scheduled for today at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Louisville. The details surrounding the shooting are still under investigation and the Kentucky State Police are asking anyone with information to contact local Law Enforcement or the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555. KSP was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff's Department and the Marion County Coroner. Detective Bradly Stotts is investigating.
