Injury Collision on KY 70 in Casey County

(Liberty, KY) – Trooper Mike Woodrum is investigating a two vehicle collision that occurred at 7:45 am 6 miles East of Liberty on KY-70. Kathy Napier, age 55 of Kings Mountain, KY was operating a 2003 Buick Lesabre. She was attempting to pull onto KY-70 from Jones Park Elementary School when she was struck in the rear by a 1996 Toyota Tercel being operated by Kari Hogue, age 27 of Liberty, KY. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts. Kathy Napier was transported by EMS to the Casey County Hospital.
