Injury Collision on KY 206 in Adair County

(Columbia, KY.) – Tpr. Justin Phillips is investigating a collision that occurred on Friday, September 7 at 6:51 PM CST on KY 206, 4 miles east of Columbia at the intersection of Valley View Drive. 23-year-old Brittni Corbin of Columbia was traveling east on KY 206 operating a 2011 Chevy. Ms. Corbin was attempting to turn onto Valley View Road when she pulled into the path of a westbound 2007 KIA operated by 23-year-old Jordan Knifley of Columbia. Mr. Knifley was unable to avoid the collision and the vehicles collided head-on.
Ms. Corbin and a passenger in her vehicle, 20-year-old Charles Page of Columbia, were not belted and were transported to Westlake Hospital. A passenger, 3-year-old Lane Kelsey was in a child restraint device and was not injured.
Mr. Knifley and a passenger in his vehicle, 20-year-old Katlyn Wallace of Columbia, were not belted and were transported to Westlake Hospital.
